God’s Good Guidance

“Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long” (Psalm 25:4, 5).

When you need guidance, you should go right to the top!

There is a hierarchy in some offices. Some workers have inquiries or disagreements with company policy and they go to a superior to ask questions or complain. There are other workers who go straight to the boss. Would you like to have that status?

Well, the good news is, you do! As a believer in Christ, you don’t have to bother with middle management. You can go right to the top, right to God Himself with any question you have. Jesus has already paid the price for your sins. You are now God’s child and that’s your status. You can go right into His presence and ask Him anything.

Because we believers in Christ have a special relationship with the Father, there are sources from which we must NOT ask for guidance. These sources are spirits, mediums, witches and psychics. These
sources come from Satan—the father of lies. It is unlikely these sources give truthful advice, anyhow.

When we have access to the BEST source of guidance, these secondary sources are a waste of time—and money. The first commandment says “You shall have no other gods before me.” Take it seriously. God does!
