Are you feeling exhausted? Does life have you running around? Are you so busy that it seems as though you have no time to relax? Many people struggle with balancing their lives and often have not time for themselves.
There is hope for those who have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. Christians are promised in Hebrews that “there remains therefore a rest for the people of God” (Hebrews 4:9, NKJV). This passage goes on to say, “For he who has once entered [God’s] rest also has cease from [the weariness and pain] of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His own” (Hebrews 4:10, Amplified).
Even God took one day out of the week to rest from His work. He wants His people to take time to rest. Hebrews 4:11 encourages us to rest in the Lord: “Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest [of God to know and experience it for ourselves]….” (Amplified)
He is waiting for us to enter His rest. He provides it freely and abundantly. His rest will always be available to His people. Choose today to rest in His love!
