Faith is Trusting God….in the Dark

Consider the following maxims concering faith….

Faith is the element which connects the soul with God.

Faith is the eye of the soul.

The word disappointment is not in the dictionary of faith.

On earth, we believe. In heaven, we understand.

Faith is not having any doubts:
    faith is trusting God in spite of doubts.

Little faith says, “God can….but will He?”
    Great faith says, “God will….if I just ask”.
        Mature faith faith says….“God has already done it”.
                                                – Roy Harthern

You can have great faith in thin ice and fall through.
  You can have little faith in thick ice and be perfectly safe:
      It’s the foundation of God’s Word that matters: not the amount of your faith.

Jesus did not say “According to your fate be it unto you”;
    …..nor did He say “All things are probable”.

Fear causes you to talk to God about your mountains:
  Faith causes you to talk to your mountains about God.
                                              – Tommy Barnett

Faith is knowing there is an ocean because you’ve seen a brook.

Faith is not type of money with which you purchase things from God.

Doubt says, “If I hadn’t seen it, I wouldn’t have believed it.”
Faith says,  “If I hadn’t believed it, I wouldn’t have seen it.”

Blessed is the man who digs a well of hope…
      ….from which others may draw faith.

With God, walk on the water:
      without Him, don’t cross the brook.

Fear knocked at the door. Faith answered. No one was there.

Doubt sees the obstacles;
    Faith sees the way.
Doubt sees the darkest night;
    Faith sees the day.
Doubt dreads to take a step;
    Faith soars on high.
Doubt asks, “Who believes?”
    Faith answers, “I”!
