Divorce and God

Contrary to popular myth, divorce is almost never “no-fault.”  In most divorce cases, one or both of the partners simply was not willing to commit totally to the other person. Marriages do not fail, people do. Divorce always happens because one or both of the pair somewhere failed to keep God’s laws.

Are there gay persons in heaven? No. But there are many formerly gay persons there. First of all, we must understand that God loves homosexuals just the same as everyone else. The straightforward facts of this essay must not obscure this primary fact. Christians must learn to love and to lead gay persons into a deep personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Wives, this is an exercise to rate your husband’s current status.  It is a great idea to sit down with your husband after you have completed this and discuss each of these items in love.

This is an exercise for both spouses.  Once you have filled them out privately, exchange papers with each other and discuss your results.

What Kind of a Husband Would Jesus Have Made?

So what’s the point in such a question? If we believe that Jesus was the Perfect Man, we must look to Him for characteristics befitting a husband. After all, who alone is our faultless example of manhood?
