Many things in this cult are kept secret because:
A. Most Mormons are not fully aware of their own doctrines and history.
B. Mormon missionaries are trained to keep things from their potential converts, for if they were fully disclosed, who would pursue membership in the Mormon church?
Secrets of Mormonism include:
<> The Bible is untrustworthy and is full of errors.
<> There are three sacred books in addition to the Bible:
The Book of Mormon
Doctrine and Covenants
The Pearl of Great Price
<> Evangelical church doctrines are an abomination to God.
<> Bible-believing pastors are hirelings of Satan.
<> Salvation is found only in their church and their secret temple rituals.
<> They intend to be gods themselves one day, and are helping to earn that privilege by talking to you and converting you to Mormonism.
<> Their temple oaths are based on Scottish Rite Masons.
<> Joseph Smith was heavily involved in the occult when he founded Mormonism.
<> Mormonism proclaims the white race as superior and deems Native Americans and African-Americans as cursed and “unrighteous.” Mormonism has consistently taught “they are not entitled to the full blessings of the gospel.”
<> Jesus’ death on the cross only partially saves a believer.
<> Paradise is the spirit-prison where the dead go to hear Mormon “truth” preached.
<> Those who have been accepted into their temples are wearing “sacred underwear” to protect themselves from evil non-Mormons like you.
<> They believe “familiar spirits” are good and that their Book of Mormon has one (In Leviticus 19:31 God warns us familiar spirits defile and are to be avoided).
<> They encourage visitations from dead relatives from the spirit-world. (This is a forbidden abomination – Deuteronomy 18:10-12).
<> Women can only receive salvation through their Mormon husbands and will remain pregnant eternally, constantly giving birth to celestial babies.
<> Joseph Smith said he received a vision in which he was instructed to practice polygamy.
<> Mormon men intend to have many wives in heaven, having multiple sexual relations throughout eternity until they have enough children to populate the earth and be deemed a “Heavenly Father.”
<> You were once a “spirit-child” of a heavenly father before you were born on earth.
<> The Virgin Mary was not a virgin, but had sexual relations with the heavenly father to produce (the Mormon version of) Jesus Christ.
<> Mormons believe Jesus had at least three wives and fathered several children while here on earth.
<> Fact: the state of Utah (predominately Mormon) has a much higher average for divorce, wife beatings, child abuse, and teen suicides.
<> Jesus was Lucifer’s brother in the spirit-world, and that it was only due to a “heavenly council” vote that Jesus became our redeemer instead of Satan.
<> God was once a man.
<> Jesus was actually born in Jerusalem and not Bethlehem.
<> The term “Gospel” refers to the Mormon doctrines.
<> Being “Born Again” means being baptized into the Mormon church.
<> There are over 100 divisions and sects within the Mormon church, a fact they fail to mention as they criticize denominations.
<> They expect Christ to return to a Mormon temple in Missouri but they have not yet built that temple, because it belongs to a different sect of the Mormons who are not part of the Salt Lake City group.
<> The word “Mormon” means Gate of Hell in Chinese.
<> They hide the truth about “The Mountain Meadows Massacre” in which Mormons brutally murdered a wagon train full of nearly a hundred innocent settlers traveling through Utah.
<> Their prophet, Joseph Smith, made many false prophecies, including predicting the Second Coming of Jesus in 1891.
<> Joseph Smith deliberately deceived his followers by pretending to translate some Egyptian scrolls into English in 1835. He proclaimed one of these scrolls had been written by Abraham. He blasphemed, for he said he translated them through “the Spirit of divine revelation.”
<> Joseph Smith did not die a martyr as they claim, but was killed in a gun battle in which he himself killed two men and wounded a third.
<> Polytheism, the belief in many gods, is the cornerstone of Mormon theology.
<> They believe the Trinity consists of three gods born in different times and places. The Father begot both the Son and the Holy Spirit through a goddess wife in heaven.
<> The earth is one of several inhabited planets ruled by gods and goddesses. Such beings were once humans on other planets.
<> Michael the Archangel came down to earth with several of his celestial wives and became Adam in the garden of Eden.
<> The angel Gabriel came down to earth and became Noah in the days of the flood.
<> Joseph Smith taught that there were inhabitants on the moon.
In 1892, the Mormon Church published an article entitled: “The Inhabitants of the Moon.” According to this article, the moon was inhabited by men and women the same as the earth but they generally lived to be nearly 1,000 years old and dressed similar to Quakers.
<> Brigham Young taught there were also inhabitants on the sun.
<> The “Heavenly Father” they ask you to pray to with them is really a being on the planet Kolob, not the Heavenly Father of the Bible.
If the Mormons come to your door, should you argue theology with them? Read John’s comment on this subject in II John 1:10.
No doctrine the Mormons teach agrees with the Word of God. Why? Because Brigham Young preached that “Jesus Christ was not begotten by the Holy Ghost.” If the foundational premise of a religion is erroneous, it follows that all else is false as well. If you want the truth concerning this religious cult, seek answers directly from God’s Holy Spirit. He will always lead you into all truth (Jn. 16:13).
