26 – Paul returns to his hometown of Tarsus

30 to 35 – Day of Pentecost; Birth and early growth of the Church
35 – Saul (Paul) comes to Jerusalem; Stephen is martyred
35 to 36 – Saul persecutes Christians (Acts 8:3 & 9:1-2).
36 – Saul is converted on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:3-18).
36 to 38 – Paul travels from Damascus; stays in Arabia for three years, then returns to Damascus (Gal. 1:16-17).
39 – Paul flees from Damascus to Jerusalem (Acts 9:26-29; Gal. 1:18-20).
39-43 – Paul is in Tarsus, then in the regions of Syria & Cilicia (Acts 10:1-1:18).
44 – Paul at Antioch – ministering to Gentile Believers (Acts 11:25-26).
45 – Paul and Barnabas carry relief funds to the Jerusalem saints (Acts 11:30; Gal. 2:1-10).
46 to 47 – Paul is at Antioch (Acts 12:25 -13:1).
48 to 49 –
FIRST MISSIONARY JOURNEY
(Acts 13:2 – 14:28). Paul and Barnabas visit Cyprus, Perga, Antioch in Pisidia, Iconium, Lystra, Derbe. He is in Antioch (Syria) for 2 years, during which time he writes Galatians.
49-50 – Paul attends the Jerusalem Council regarding Gentile converts (Acts 15).
51 to 54 –
SECOND MISSIONARY JOURNEY
(Acts 15:36 – 18:22). Beginning at Antioch, he visits Cilicia, Galatia, and Troas in Asia Minor, then moves into Europe visiting Philippi, Thessalonica, Beroea, Athens, and Corinth. During his 18-month stay in Corinth, he writes 1st Thessalonians (52 A.D.) and 2nd Thessalonians (53 A.D.). After leaving there, he visits Jerusalem and Antioch.
54 to 58 –
THIRD MISSIONARY JOURNEY
(Acts 18:23 – 21:16). Paul leaves Antioch and travels to Ephesus and stays three years. During his time there, he writes 1st Corinthians (57 A.D.). He travels to Macedonia where he writes 2nd Corinthians. He then goes to Corinth where he stays 3 months and writes Romans (58 A.D.) From there, he travels to Philippi, Miletus, and Jerusalem. There he is arrested and sent to Caesarea and imprisoned.
58 to 59 – Paul is incarcerated in Caesarea for two years. After trials before Felix, Festus, and Herod Agrippa, he appeals to Caesar (Acts 21 – 26).
60 – Festus sends Paul to Rome, but he is shipwrecked at Malta (Acts 27).
61 to 63 – Paul arrives in Rome as a prisoner. During his first Roman incarceration, he writes Philippians, Colossians, Philemon, & Ephesians (Acts 28:30).
63 – Paul is released from prison.
63 to 65 – Paul revisits Macedonia, Asia Minor, Crete, and writes 1st Timothy from Macedonia. Exactly were Paul is when he writes to Titus is uncertain, but may have vistied Colosse, Ehhesus, and Miletus.
65 – Paul is arrested at Nicopolis and taken to Rome and imprisoned. There he writes 2nd Timothy.
67 – Paul is beheaded during the Neronian persecutions. He is martyred along the Ostian Way – the road from Rome to Ostia.
