Jesus is our Source of Strength

The Holy Spirit brought to my mind a song and a scripture to my remembrance today. I want to share them with you.

The song by Brian Littrell says:

“In Christ alone, I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory,
Let it be said of me,
My source of strength
My source of hope is Christ alone!”

Jesus Christ is the believer’s source of strength. He is steadfast and true. Whenever we are weak we can go to Him for strength. Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

What an amazing and wonderful promise that scripture holds for us as believers! So the next time you become “burned out” with the cares of the day, just remember:  Jesus is your source of strength!  Psalm 73:26 says, “My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”

Take some time and spend it with Jesus.  You will be so refreshed if you do!
