A poem from the heart.
Until the Church comes together in the mission of building each other up and reaching a lost world, we will never attain “to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
As Christians, we are called to follow in the image of Christ.
What we speak is incredibly powerful.
As Christians, we are not promised boring lives, full of drudgery and misery and boredom. Rather, as Peter says, we must prepare our minds of action.
“In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
There is an invisible world around us. Every day we unknowingly interact with it, through our actions and the choices we make.
2 Corinthians 10:3-6 states that we do not wage war as the world does, but we fight a spiritual battle against the strongholds of evil.
Unlike Satan’s authority, the authority of the Father is not bondage, but freedom to be all that He created us to be.
As disciples of Christ, we should seek to learn, to know, and to understand the “secrets of the kingdom of God.”
