The objective of Native American Marriage Enhancement is to strengthen the long-term commitment of married couples on reservations throughout the Nation. It also includes marriage and communications skills and marital and pre-marital educational seminars. On most reservations, there is no current program specifically focused on pre-marital issues or strengthening existing marriages, especially not one based upon mentoring and couples serving as role models.
